Models & Memory:
aP89682K: 16M bits EPROM, 682 sec playback (6kHzsampling, 4-bit ADPCM).
aP89341K: 8M bits EPROM, 341 sec playback.
aP89170K: 4M bits EPROM, 170 sec playback.
aP89085K: 2M bits EPROM, 85 sec playback.
All support 1023 voicegroups and 2016 voiceblocks.
Trigger Modes:
Key Mode: Trigger up to 57 voicegroups via S1–S8 pins (HIGH/LOW combinations). SBTpin triggers se playback (up to 1023 groups).
CPU Parallel Mode: S1–S8 act as 8-bit addresses(LSB to MSB), with SBT as a strobe.
SPI/I2C Mode: Serial interface for microcontrollerintegration.
MP3 Mode: Playback control (play/pause,forward/backward) via SBT/S1–S4.
aP89 Modes: Compatibility with older APLUS OTP ICs(Mode 1) or added volume control (Mode 2).
Audio Outputs:
PWM (VOUT1/VOUT2): Directly drive speakers.
DAC (COUT): Requires an external BJT foramplification.
Programmable outputs (OUT1–OUT3) for BUSY, STOP, or LEDsignals.
