聚碳酸酯耐弱酸，耐弱堿，耐中性油。不耐紫外光，不耐強(qiáng)堿。
PC高分子量樹脂有很高的韌性，未填充牌號(hào)的熱變形溫度大約為130°C，玻璃纖維增強(qiáng)后可使這個(gè)數(shù)值增加10°C。PC的彎曲模量可達(dá)2400MPa以上，樹脂可加工制成大的剛性制品。低于100°C時(shí)，在負(fù)載下的蠕變率很低。PC耐水解性差，不能用于重復(fù)經(jīng)受高壓蒸汽的制品。
The main defects of PC are poorhydrolytic stability, sensitivity to notch, resistance to organicchemicals, poor scratch resistance and yellowing after long-termexposure to ultraviolet light. As with other resins, PC issusceptible to immersion in certain organic solvents. Polycarbonatecolorless transparent, heat resistance, impact resistance, flameretardant BI class, in common use temperature have good mechanicalproperties. Compared with poly(methyl methacrylate) , polycarbonatehas good impact resistance, high refractive index, goodprocessability, and UL94 V-0 flame retardancy without additives.The wear resistance of polycarbonate is poor. Some polycarbonatedevices for wear-prone applications require special surfacetreatment. Performance classification: Flame retardant grade, glassfiber reinforced grade, transparent grade, UV resistance, hightemperature resistance, high flow resistance, high impactresistance, weather resistance, high gloss, low temperatureresistance, stability, high strength, high rigidity, antistatic,conductive grade, standard grade, chemical resistance.
